I have been blessed to grow up in a family that values art and creativity, with my parents owning an Art Gallery for my formative years. This also allowed for an appreciation and value of nature. Leading my early adulthood to be immersed living 4 years on World Heritage Listed Kgari/Fraser Island, where I worked as a guide and was introduced to my first camera. Since that time I have shared the past 20 years between photography and guiding.

 

Presently my interest is in portraiture and finding a sincere connection with my fellow human. As I’ve got older I have realised the value in images of ‘Us’. We are all someones child or someones lover, a parent maybe a brother or a sister. Never would we not want to have reminders of these people who give meaning to our lives. It’s my want to create images that are not just a photo, but a doorway for loved ones and the subject themselves to see we are all a piece of amazing art.
